How it works

Three numbers. One cover that fits.

  1. Measure

    Height and width on the flat back plate. Depth from wall to outermost part, old cover off. Round up to 1/16 in.

  2. Choose

    Pick a pattern and a color. Add a felt insert to hide the chime's parts.

  3. We make it

    Cut to your measurements, made to order, then shipped.

Each measurement can be up to 12.5 in.

Questions, answered

Are doorbell chime covers universal?

No. Chime boxes vary in size, so every Iledecor cover is made to the height and width of your chime's flat back plate, and to the depth from the wall to the part of the doorbell chime that sticks out the most, with the old cover removed.

Will a cover fit my Nutone, Broan-Nutone or Newhouse chime?

Yes. The covers are designed for standard indoor chime boxes, including those brands, and are made to your measurements rather than to a model number.

How does the cover stay on?

It slides over your existing chime box and is held in place by a snug friction (pressure) fit. That's why accurate Height, Width and Depth measurements matter: the cover is made to your numbers so it fits snugly.
