Once you are comfortable with made-to-measure sizing, the next question is usually visual: which face belongs in the room? Iledecor styles share the same fit process—measure your chime’s height, width and depth and enter them on the product page—and differ in the cutout pattern on the front.
This guide is for style-first shoppers. For the measuring walkthrough, use the measuring guide once, then pick a pattern.
Same fit process, different face
Every Iledecor doorbell chime cover is made to order in PLA to your measurements. You measure your chime’s height, width and depth, enter them on the product page, choose a color, and the cover slides over the chime with a snug friction fit. It fits Nutone, Broan-Nutone, Newhouse and vintage chimes, and it can replace a missing original cover. Pattern choice does not change that workflow.
So measure once (or keep your three numbers handy), then compare faces.
Louver — clean linear rhythm
The Louver pattern is a row of evenly spaced vertical slots with a clean, linear rhythm that sits easily with modern, mid-century, and contemporary rooms. It reads calm and architectural—quiet wall structure rather than loud décor.
If you want a safe first pick that plays well with trim and hardware, Louver is a strong default.

Stars
The Stars pattern is a grid of cut-out stars. It keeps the same modern / mid-century / contemporary comfort zone, with a clearer graphic beat than Louver’s lines.

Arches
The Arches pattern is a field of small stacked arches. Soft curves repeat across the face—a quieter ornamental read than Stars or Flowers.

Flowers
The Flowers pattern is a grid of four-petal cutouts. It stays geometric enough for contemporary rooms while reading warmer and more decorative than pure lines.

Matching pattern to trim and hardware
A practical way to choose:
- Prefer calm and linear → start with Louver
- Want a clear motif → Stars or Flowers
- Want soft repeated curves → Arches
Then match the color to trim, door, and nearby hardware. Every pattern comes in the same 10 colors. Pattern is the face; finish is the conversation with the rest of the room. (Color choice gets its own walkthrough next—see the color and finish guide.)
All of these are decorative indoor covers only. They slide over a standard indoor chime box; they are not the chime itself.
Buying guide: after you pick a style
- Measure the chime itself, not the old decorative cover. Take the old cover off, then measure in this order: height (top to bottom of the chime’s back plate), width (side to side of the back plate) and depth (from the wall to the part of the chime that sticks out the most). Round each measurement up to the nearest 1/16 in. Each one can be up to 12.5 in. (Step by step: measuring guide.)
- Enter height, width and depth on the product page and your size is selected automatically. The table below shows which size each total falls into. Add to cart stays disabled until all three measurements are valid.
- Choose your color.
- Felt insert (optional): choose Felt: Yes to add a felt insert that hides the chime’s parts. It is available on all four patterns.
- Order — each cover is made to order.
| Size | H + W + D total |
|---|---|
| X-Small | under 12 in |
| Small | 12 to under 14 in |
| Medium | 14 to under 16 in |
| Large | 16 to under 18 in |
| X-Large | 18 to under 20 in |
| 2X-Large | 20 in and over |
A total that lands exactly on a limit falls into the larger size (for example, exactly 14 in is Medium).
Each product page shows its current starting price.
